The general cleaning of accumulated dust and smoke stains allow the original painting to be seen in all its sharpness.

Sealing up the cracks with injections of mortar allows direct action to be taken on the affected surfaces, to proceed to chromatic retouching.

The cathedral's tondi were very obviously in a state of deterioration. The paint cracked and coming off gave them a very marked aged look, and the restoration work has meant the full recuperation of the Tondi.

The protection of zones where there was a danger of cracking, consolidation, replacement of mortars, general cleaning of dust and smoke stains and chromatic retouching allow us to enjoy the beauty of the Tondi of the Assumption, the Presentation, the Annunciation and the Blessed Virgin.
