As can be seen in the previous sequences, the vault had undergone serious damage and the work to be done was no simple matter. Analyses, samples and a painstaking restoration process were required to recover one of the most emblematic works of art of Segorbe cathedral.

This work now lets us see very clearly the mural painting of the vault in the presbytery of Segorbe cathedral, which represents the Assumption and crowning of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Trinity, surrounded by predecessors of Jesus, Marian Old Testament prefigurations, prophets, angels, etc.
